Federal personal defense #4 buckshot in 2.75" has 34 pellets. Unless I'm defending the home of J Peterman, I'll take quantity over quality inside 20'.

I'm a huge fan of 1 buck. A major huge fan. It's the ideal defense buckshot IMO. You'll only be getting a 3-5" pattern at the most in a house no matter what you use.

I have personal have witnessed ummm...... something..... shot with a slug out if a 870 in the ...lets see here.....stomach area....from a very close range.....get pretty much cut in half n lived.......
