I sure the frick wouldn't put my hand next to it.

Take it away from the house, but be on the look out for him and his friends.

I put my hand right on one of those the other day. I grabbed a log to hold onto while I was scrambling along the edge of a creek. I felt something big scurry out from under my hand. I looked down and there was a huge fishing spider sitting there. I'm not scared of spiders, but grabbing it like that made
me wonder what a bite might be like. It's also a bit disconcerting to feel something like that before you see it.

Fishers are like Wolf spiders, wont bite unless you mess with them. Let him live on and eat mosquitoes.

I'd let him be.
or hit him with a flip-flop. Either way, its no big deal.

This reminded me of a time when I was probably 7 or 8. I was walking around in the woods barefoot and accidentally stepped on a mother wolf spider. When I looked down it seemed like there were thousands of little spiders crawling on my feet and legs. I’ll never forget it. 20 years later it seems like I can still remember the panic that set in at that moment. I thought I was a goner for sure.

How many gas cans do you have?

If there's one thing scarier than a giant fricking fisher spider, it's a wasp that kills giant fricking fisher spiders. And if there's one thing scarier than a wasp that kills giant fricking fisher spiders, it's a wasp that just paralyzes the giant fricking fisher spider, subsequently laying eggs in its giant fricking zombie-like corpse, so its babies can then eat it alive from the inside.
Saw this walking across my driveway a couple weeks ago and was like WTF? Got closer and saw the wasp drag the spider across the driveway, go straight up my garage door, cross over to the bricks, walk along the top of the wall and go around the corner of the house and back and forth again couple times, then finally dragging it up onto the roof, where it then fought off another wasp trying to steal its prey.
While it was impressive watching the wasp drag this giant spider along the brick wall, it was even more impressive watching it drag it straight up the much slicker garage door.
Damn, nature...

Nothing. Spiders don't bother me.

Parasitic wasps are the scariest things in the world. If they were big enough it would be like living in an Alien movie when they get eggs laid in them. Fracking crazy

I did that a couple years ago while kayaking. Pulled up to a big cypress to get out and piss, used the cypress to steady myself while standing up. Needless to say, yea...I flipped over backwards and took a swim.
