Correct

And legally you can't go into someone's house while carrying without telling them and getting permission.

Correct, you need written permission from the church (pastor) to carry in church.

Just look at other states that already have it. Not like we are the first.

It's Louisiana, so it will be different.

The only real effect I can see is innocent people not getting a charge if they get pulled over and have a gun put away in their car within arms reach.

When Ohio passed constitutional carry, crime dropped in 6 of their 8 largest cities.

One thing to note about permitless carry; most of these states only allow this for residents. In other words, if I was permitless carrying in MS and decided to carry into TN, I could be in trouble.

I have my permit, so this is all moot for me but just something to consider.

I live in a Constitutional carry state but still have a permit anyway for reciprocity when I travel to states that either don't have Constitutional carry or it's only available for residents.

You should be able to conceal in your car now too, correct?

You could always have a gun in your car, because it's an extension of you home. It was always my understanding that if you got pulled over you couldn't have it concealed, unless you had a concealed carry permit. This should go away now...

The only real issue is see is that “normal” people will run in to is private properties banning firearms.

That's not going to be a change either, if private properties were inclined to post such signage they would have already done so. Even then such signage is easily ignored, my gun is concealed and doesn't print so unless they pat me down or have a metal detector there's nothing to be done.

The problem is that people are going to think their right to conceal carry trumps the private property owners right to ban firearms.

The only effect I’ve noticed in Alabama is sheriffs’ offices complaining about lost revenues (it was earmarked for them by statute).

he doesnt know the law... the laws about concealed carry is about carry concealed on your person. has nothing to do with anything else.

gun can be sitting in your bag in your car or sitting in a bag at your house.. But if you pick that bag up and walk outside, its on your person.

IDK who started the whole. "Your mag has to be in a different compartment of your vehicle" nonsence. or the "out of your reach" bullshite.

The main effect will be that somebody isn't pocketing $100 of your money, in exchange for you to exercise your right to carry.
