The one gun you've inherited and intend to keep passing on. Maybe it's a gun you didn't inheret but will start the tradition.

I have many of my dad's and grandfather's guns but the one I cherish most is a Winchester 30-30 Model 94. Pop supposedly got it as a gift from his Dad in or around 1927 or thereabouts.

I have 4 Browning auto 5's with very low serial numbers.. Wish they were in new condition but they're in pretty good shape for their age. I also have a Browning superposed with a very low serial number .. I'll be passing all of these down.

Winchester Model 12 from the 50's
A5 Light 12 from the late 50's
Remington Model 11 (A5 clone) from the WWII era when Browning shared production.

My dad doesn’t hunt and only has a couple guns. My grandpa only did a little duck hunting here and there. That being said, my grandpa gave me his old semi-auto Winchester 12 gauge 2 weeks before he passed. That gun will never ever be sold.

I have several nice rifles and handguns that I plan on passing down when the day comes (I’m only 28 with no kids yet) but my grandpas old shotgun is one that for sure will never leave the family.

Kind of cool Browning designed and perfected all the Win lever action models way back then. Then go on and become a legend.

Pow pow’s 1948 16 gauge model 12, should still be in great shape, since I can’t afford to buy 16 gauge shells

I'll be passing them all down because I will never sell any.

Most notably a Belgian A5 Light Twelve I got from my step-dad and a Marlin 336 35 Rem. I got from my grandfather.

When I was younger my dad bought 2 BPS 10 gauges with sequential serial numbers for himself and me. He always thought that was the coolest thing that they were made back to back on the assembly line. He had a stroke and passed away this year, but before he did, he gave his 10 gauge to my only son.

Paw Paw's 1960's Marlin .35 Remington. It means a lot more than it's worth.

Man I'm a browning nut. Have read everything prolly ever printed on the man. The man was a fricking genius and most people have no clue the patents and designs he is responsible for... My bucket list trip is to go to Ogden to the Browning museum and see his prototypes.

Couple of 60s and 70s Remington 760s do it in 30-06.

Not glamorous but those two rifles I have stories behind them.

My maternal grandfather's AH Fox Sterlingworth double-barrel 12 gauge that's over 100 years old. My paternal grandfather's Stevens Model 15 .22 rifle he bought at Southdowns Hardware in 1955 for $15 (I still have the receipt somewhere). My 1957 Winchester Model 12 20 gauge my late uncle gave me in 1982 after a hunting/fishing trip to Mexico. My Stevens Model 94Y single-shot 20 gauge my paternal grandmother gave me for my 11th birthday in 1972. She bought the gun at Wilson's on Florida Boulevard where the Department of Ag and Forestry is located today. Finally, my Remington 870 12 gauge Wingmaster I got for Christmas when I was 16. My parents bought the gun at the T,G, & Y store on Perkins Road for around $150. I still shot all of them on occasion.
