I’ve been using a large BGE for 10 years. Love it and nothing has broke yet

GE's are expensive and the options are even more insanely expensive but they will last a good long time as long as you don't crack it...

I have a large BGE and have had it for the last ~5 years. It was not cheap, but I got the bare bones grill with no stand, folding tables, etc. and built my own table for it. Doing it that way made it comparable to Kamado Joe in price, but I now had a full table. The add on options through BGE are expensive, but there are also tons of no name brand options out there.

Last year I had a crack in my fire box that honestly didn't affect the performance and I only noticed it when doing a thorough cleaning. But it was there. Went back to the place I bought with a picture of the crack and walked out with a brand new one no other questions asked.

I can't say that BGE is any better than other options out there since I don't have the experience, but I can say that I don't regret buying it. And a major influence on my purchase was the Ace Hardware near me that carries them. Their customer service is top notch. Let me borrow a stand while building my table and then came out to help me install it in the table I built. They handle all warranty issues. Threw in little freebies. Other's were sold by big box store type places and I didn't get that kind of service when shopping.

Reqteq 700

ETA I used to always buy cheap grills thinking it’s a waste of money to buy expensive ones. I got the reqteq as a gift, and I will never buy another cheap grill. It’s worth it

I use a large BGE and it is definitely worth the price. Once you get comfortable with it, it holds temp just as well as a pellet grill and (to me) food tastes better. I don't have a ton of accessories, just upgraded to the new style cap/vent and the Conveggtor.

PK. If I had to do it over, I’d probably just buy a Weber and let it rust. I’d like the PK to be about twice the size it is.

Big Steel Keg for all my high heat cooks. Blazn Grill Works Gridiron for smoking with Pellets. I also have large Weber kettle I use for doing certain specialty cooks on due to the attachments/accessories I have for the kettle.

I also have a few self made smokers that I use for various situations such as tailgating, etc.

It’s worth the price imo and the warranty is great. I used mine prob 2-3 times a week.

I bought a Webber Kettle in 1981. It lasted till 2011 when we moved. I bought another one but I will not get 30 years out of it like the last one. It is not quite as heavy. But it cooks just the same!

I grill and smoke on the larger Weber kettle (24”). I’ve smoked a 10lb pork butt a couple times using a half ring of coal around the sides of the kettle.

Been pan frying my steaks in a cast iron pan and they have been awesome.

a smaller version of the aluminum pit at Lsu football ops. We built that one back when I was working and I asked the boss if I could have a smaller one ( knowing he'd say no) -surprise he ok'd it.

I got an XL BGE. And they ain’t very many things that come off of it that don’t taste really good. You won’t regret the purchase. I’m sure the other ceramic grills are similar. It takes a bit of a learning curve to get used to it tho
