What ever happened to the North American Hunting Club?

I fell for the lifetime membership, and the promise of being selected as a field tester of hunting related products. I had forgot all about my magazine subscription, and membership in this organization. I came across my leather jacket I got with the lifetime membership last week looking for warmer hunting clothing in storage containers. I was wondering if it's no longer in business, are those that bought the lifetime memberships were defrauded?
