My parents have a Roomba, it spins around, goes random places, bumps into some shite then gets confused or stuck and shuts down and misses a ton of spots. The Neato does a perimeter pass then goes back and forth and doesn't skip spots so it actually looks like someone passes a vacuum. In bigger rooms it'll sometimes split it up but I find it does a lot better job than the Roomba my parents have. I programmed it to run while I'm at work, it does about half the house, goes charge itself then returned to where it left off and finishes up, I empty the dust bin when I get home. I had to let it run a few times and figure out where I needed to put the blocker strip to keep it from getting stuck but it would only get stuck on an extension cord under my bed and behind my bicycle that I keep inside.
