Back in the day, I bought a sack of crawfish from Al Scramooza at Seafood City ( the older NOLA peeps will know the place) and there was a 3 foot water snake mixed in with the crawfish.

Yeah they do. Learned that one day we were tearing them up and ran out of bait early. One water snake and we were back in business bigtime. They love that shite plus it holds up well and doesn't get stripped easily.

Going Copperhead hunting tomorrow for the first time this year at the place where I caught my last one. Wish me luck. Will post pics if I get lucky. Or if I get unlucky.
