Great haul of Mangroves! They are my favorite on the plate. Damn nice Cobia.

ETA. Sweet 300 brag.

It was a great day, like a bathtub 100 miles out. We had a decent mixed box;6 grouper, 5 AJ, 2 cobia, a trigger, a tile fish and a few big eyed porgies.

Nice catch. I thought your username was because you like to redfish.

Fishing was slow in Cocodrie. Haven't seen the water that high in a long time. Managed 5 undersided reds and 1 bull red. Tried out my Nucanoe Fronteir with trolling motor for the first time. It was awesome.

Caught some red snapper, mangroves, and triggers. Fun day. Saw some nice Cobia but we didn't have the Covia rod on the boat

Any rod can be a cobia rod unless you go fishing in a skirt.

Dude, we had 2 trout rods we were using for small Mangroves, and 3 big snapper rod/reels that you can't really cast with. We HAD a designated offshore spinning reel made for casting topwaters, jigs, etc. but it was on a friends boat.
