definitely wasn't. i just figured the hard on the OB has for xpress boats, it was one of them
we pulled up to a platform, they pulled out what looks like a small penn sargus reel with a croaker then proceeded to get spooled a few minutes later. happened at leasts 2 more times. met back up with them at the launch and I couldn't understand their thick Livingston Parish accent. Fished Lafitte Friday, Hopedale Saturday, and rigolets today. It was a pretty bad weekend from a numbers perspective but it's been too long since I've fished three days in a row.

Lafitte yesterday. Ran south and caught a ton of 10" trout. Lol. And enough 12" to eat.

Fished Coco Saturday morning. Water was pretty dirty and had a slack tide. Only caught 3, but one out up a heck of a fight. One below was about 29". My nephew caught 7.

Keeps the swivel from being pulled into the rod guide if the line is reeled all the way in.

Ate about 100 pork chops
Swam in the river for about 8 hours
