Add that to our first time for everything list

Luckily it didn’t hit anybody because it was a big adult son of a bitch. I dove out of the way and it landed in my seat and broke two rods. We bashed its head in and tossed it on the bank.

happened to me once in Henderson...broke a couple of rods...
I have some friends that run tour boats in the swamp...
they are hanging tennis nets around their boats to protect their clients...

One basically jumped in my lap scouting for ducks in our duck boat on Mollicy in Upper Ouachita NWR about 4 years ago. Scared the shite out of me. I was a passenger. I could only imagine if it hit my buddy running the motor.

Would have several jump in the boat every trip on the Red River between Ellick and Simmesport. What a dumb fricking fish.

Edible but weird bone structure. Have a line of bones running down the middle like a salmon

I had one hit me in my chest while kayaking. It surprised me so bad that I almost flipped my yak due to flipping out.

Catch anything else?

I feel like I’ll never go fishing again

About 20 sacs but we had to work for it. The water was pretty dingy probably from Laura.

The Viet Congs love that shite. But a gator or a coyote is going to be eating good tonight when they find it.

Don’t knock it ‘til you try it. If it’s good enough for Meat Eater it’s good enough for me.

Happened to me in Reggio once while idling. Hit my leg and fell to the floor going bonkers. Scared the ever loving frick out of me. I didn’t know what happened, took a solid 20 seconds of staring at the fish banging rods around before I put it together. Stuck the Cajun anchor through its head and tossed up in the grass.

Rivers here are full of them. I recommend drinking beer and standing on the front of the boat while hauling arse wearing catchers gear and holding a baseball bat. Or a Judge loaded with .410

Good times

I know up here in Wisconsin they use these technique called electro fishing to get rid of them.

Crazy as hell when they turn the thing on.

There is a processing plant here in the delta for Asian carp. Called moon river foods. They pay commercial fishermen to catch them and haul them to the plant and they ship the processed fish to Asia
