Drake always has really good Black Friday and Christmas sales and I always buy a pair for a good deal. They last me 3-4 years. I won’t claim they’re the best but I’m happy getting 3-4 seasons out of them before I have to buy another heavily discounted pair.

BassPro discontinued a lot of the good products that Cabelas made.
I had a pair Cabelas Duratrax knee boots that I wore for years

I went with Chene, my wife picked Gator Waders, and my son bought some less expensive brand I never heard of. I can definitely tell the difference in quality, but currently not sure if it is worth the cost difference. That will take more time and seasons to see how they hold up. I will definitely rely on Chene's warranty if there are any issues.

I just finished my second season on a pair. I’ve liked them and the fit is comfortable. The boot is a little heavy but it’s not awful. I’ve got to send in for warranty work after the season so I’ll see how that goes. One of the metal clips that hooks to the shoulder straps broke.

I hunt marsh and an extremely hard on waders so if I can get 2 seasons out of them without a leak or needing work, I consider that a win.

Have you had problems with yours? My hunting group…4 of us. 3/4 have had to send them back within the first season of being used. 2 of those 3 have had to send them back before the end of the second season of being used. I’m reading a lot of bad reviews on them from other hunters as well. I know they will warranty them but I feel like they’re not a good product as far as waders goes. Their other gear like the base layers are legit though

They’re great on warranty work. You should get them back in < 3 weeks. That being said they’re built cheaply. They’re worse than my banded waders I now use as backups

I've been cycling thru 4 pairs this season. All of them leaked to some degree, "best" pair was some old Cabela's neoprene that have at least 3 tubes of shoe goo on them.

Guy I hunted with Sat had Drakes new Kevlar waders. I think I'm going with those for next season.

I bought these cabelas waders pre-bass pro buying cabelas

Same here….best fitting waders I have ever had. They fit so well, that the seams aren’t stresssed, so they still don’t leak. I wear them duck hunting in the winter and fly fishing in summer!

My son got a pair of Sitka for Christmas. Was able to buy them on sale to get a little bit off.

I was hesitant but the lifetime warranty helps to ease that price.

I love their waist waders. You kinda need to add suspenders, but I think mine were $14.

Good question. My grandfather had a pair of red ball hip boots when I was a kid. He’d coat em down with cold bacon grease to plug the dry rotten cracks, lol. He’d tromp all over blind river swamp with those to shoot mallards. Good times.

That’s the main reason I included them. Plus, froggtogg offers first time users of their site an additional 15%. I ordered those grand refuge 3.0 today for $180 shipped to me.

The frog togg and Roger’s look like the same manufacturer. I’ve seen both in person.

Pretty sure that are the same; frog togg = rogers

I've had both brands in couple different styles... About like all the other budget waders. Plan for the worst, hope for the best. Be happy with 2-3 years, beyond that is lagniappe
