The OB yet again proves it is the crème de la crème of society.

Great job guys who were involved. Pox, I'm glad they saved your mom and dads boat. Everybody stay dry.

I'm honestly not sure what she is going to do once the water goes down. I don't know if the guys knew the pier was right under where they tied it off.
Maybe when the water goes down a little and the roads open back up she can get someone out there to move it before it hits on the pier.

OB SAVES THE DA.......ohhhhh they just made matters worse

When water is receding, she's going to need to get it slid back in boat house before it would hit pier. looks though she has a good 2-3 ft under boat to pier at the moment. For now, its safe (watch and make sure it doesn't get snagged under roof if it keeps rising)

does she know how to operate it? if not she may be able to float it around into the boat house using a rope. shouldn't be that difficult

Okay, I let her know. I may have to get offshore to send Corey back out there when it starts dropping after the rain slacks.

Yeah, she does. It's just the getting to it aspect.

From the last picture it looks like the lines are loose enough to allow the boat to float away from the dock as the water goes down. If not your mom may be able to walk the dock once it becomes visible and let some more out or even move the boat back inside the boat house.

Talking about an older woman though, by the time she is able to walk out to the barge it'll be too late. Unless she or someone around there walks out there once the water is only a foot or so over the pier. Not to say she couldn't do it, but getting a boat that size into a slip by yourself can be a chore even for someone who does it regularly

She's not elderly; she's just not wading out in the cold water and, honestly, she doesn't know what to do.
