With proper hunter management, parts of Louisiana are as good as anywhere in the South. The culture of killing every living thing is holding it back.

The only thing that bothers me about those guys is they pronounce their last name as "jerr-din." I'm actually pretty jealous of folks that have figured out a way to make a living hunting. I'd shoot deer on a leash in the electronics department at a north Baton Rouge Walmart if it paid well and could get me out of having a regular job.

Man we just about wore out the old monster bucks tapes on vhs at our deer lease in the marsh back in the day.

Makes sense, even for the island that is on another level.

Not gonna lie, that is impressive for CenLa if that was indeed Honeybreak. Maybe I've just always been unlucky. Also, didn't realize people from out of state or far off came to Honeybreak to deer hunt. good stuff.

Professional photography and lighting now for killing a deer?

First thing through my head was "Oh, a glamour shot."

What camo is he running this year?
. “Matching”, and/or “all of it” would be my answers.

So Honey Brake was bought and paid for by US taxpayers via the WRP program? LOL?

If people would see half the deer killed in LA they would probably change their tune. Lots of these guys don’t post pics all over the internet, hell I know a guy who killed a 180+ deer just Saturday.

I'm gonna guess, not Sitka.

And I did see what you did there.

A lot of big deer get killed in the state that never make it to the internet.

Exactly. Most of us don't have Chinese camo and other useless trinkets to peddle on the backs of these majestic creatures.

“Good deer, would rather my 130” deer I killed on my daddies land he worked his whole life to buy.”

And there are people that would tell you that they’d rather kill the 100” buck on public land than have their daddy give them a place to hunt.

I understand where you’re coming from, though. As good as these “celebrity” hunters have it, it’s still a job. They are under a lot of pressure to get kills on film and are away from home a whole lot.

No, it was bought and paid for by the man who owns it. LOL And don’t try and tell me you wouldn’t take advantage of every legal opportunity you could if you owned it.

Bet you’re one of those folks mad at Trump for “cheating” on his taxes.

As I mentioned above, our deer aren’t being used for marketing purposes. This deer will be all over packaging.

Look like an excellent hand selected buck from guided ranch hunt with what, a five digit price tag per person?
