I drive a 2011 F150 Lariat Limited... I absolutely LOVE the 6.2L (except for fill ups). I do most of my driving in the city and have averaged ~13 mpg for 20K miles. I get between 16 and 17 on the interstate. I could probably do better but I just like the sound of the engine too much to drive it like a grandpa. It pulls my Young 24 like a boss. You can barely feel it back there.
The only problems I have had with the truck have been minor... a window that wouldn't roll down until I restarted the truck and a few goofy issues with Sync. The Tundra would have been my second choice. Honestly, the reason I went with Ford was I got a smoking deal on it when the 12's were coming out.

Choirboy
You need to get the Navigation. It is badass. It even has live weather radar.

I just read through the whole thread and there is a lot more support for Fords than i would have guessed. Im thinking i can't rule it out with as many good comments as ive seen.

I wish mine got that.I have an 07 Crew cab 4x4 with the 6.0PSD 3.73 gears.I get around 17/18 on the road and about 14 running around town.It has 285 tires on it though so that doesnt help.

Is that from the lift and tires?
My regular cab V6 averages like 15 mpg. I've gotten 19 once or twice when burning a whole tank on interstate.
