I quit cold turkey about 18 months ago. The first 3 days sucked real bad. The next 3 weeks were pretty rough. After that I never thought about it honestly. It was totally worth it when I got over the hump. My mouth feels so much healthier. And I’m saving 5 bucks a day

Been tobacco free for 8 months on ZYN Spearmint

I did the same in June of 2019. I was about to put a dip in one Sunday and I was like, what if I didn't and it led to pretty much stopping right there. It wasn't too bad for me since I had already pretty much gone from about a can a day to a can a week over the previous 3 months.
My problem is when I duck hunt or fish. I always had a dip in for those 2 hobbies and it was tough doing those after I stopped.

I dipped for nearly 20 years, skoal, cope, you name it..... insurance was gonna go up considerably if I failed a nicotine test so I quit cold turkey 2 years ago. Middle of football season (and I was a coach still at the time)
I still crave it at times but Smokey Mountain has helped me get passed it. Now if I'm not hunting, fishing or working in the yard I hardly ever think about one.
except when a buddy opens a can... I swear I can smell it from a mile away.... I still dream about dipping again but I haven't had a single real dip since that day.
It's hard but it's do-able.

Fully Loaded isn't bad. They have 3 levels: full nicotine, half nicotine, and no nicotine.

Dipped for probably 10 years. Quit 7 years ago. Cold turkey. I know if I buy a can I'll be back full time so I don't even think about it.
I was in a similar boat. Hadn't dipped in 6 or 7 years and for some reason on a whim bought a can of copenhagen. Threw a big pinch in and ended up puking after 20 or 30 minutes. threw the rest of the can away.

I like ZYN but that brand contains nicotine. Smokey mountain is tobacco and nicotine free but still have great taste.

Jared Outlaw is awesome in the outdoors community when it comes to social media. If I'm at work I'll throw in a zynn if I'm looking for a simple dipesque wintergreen nicotine buzz from an inobtrusive microscopic pouch. Like others said tho, Rogue is crazy good as well. The Orange tastes like a Fanta but I haven't tried the traditional dip flavors

As others have mentioned, that Zyn stuff is supposed to be a really good alternative, I have a few friends that quit dipping and smoking with those. May want to get the lower nicotine level though and add more if needed as one buddy said he went straight to the higher one and it made him feel awful lol. Good luck on quitting.

Same here. Grinds are better than the tobacco alternatives, but you have to be a coffee fan.

30+ years chewing Redman. Zyn did the trick on quitting. I find the wintergreen to be the best as it has the strongest flavor and lasts the longest.

I bought the Rogue 6mg wintergreen today. Great taste and still had a good flavor when I got rid of the pouch an hour later.

That’s a long arse time. I want to try it.

I personally like the zyn chill flavor. It's actually flavorless, so it's just the nicotine buzz.

Chewed Levi Garrett for a long time. Health scare earlier this year made me quit on the spot.
But ...
Wish there was something out there in a pouch that tasted like chew tobacco, not the mint/wintergreen dip stuff.
