So, need an everyday pair with a lens for inshore fishing. I’ve been wearing costas with amber green mirrored lens for years now and have loved them. But I’m not so loyal I won’t switch it up.
Need good customer service for issues with deteriorating rubber pieces etc.
Comfort is top priority followed closely by good visibility.
To add, I’d like to get some real ones off an eBay seller at a lower cost if that’s possible. Not sure if buying this way prevents you from getting customer service from the manufacturer. I’ve actually never purchased anything off eBay.

WileyX has been very good to me. I sent in a pair for new Rx and they did not like the way the frames were aging(I didn't notice a thing) and replaced those too.

Before I got a military discount I bought them from ebay with no issues. Pick a big seller or you may get fakes. The big sellers are frequently brick and mortar stores but they can't sell Costas below MAP in their stores so ebay is how they do it. I've used their customer service twice and they never asked where they came from.
I'm not locked into Costa either but I've never looked through anything that I liked better than the green amber glass. They probably have their equal out there but I can't tell you what it is. FWIW I also have a pair of the amber glass without the green mirror and the mirror doesn't do much. I was a little surprised by that.

I've have several pairs of Costas. I still like them but I now have a pair of Maui Jim's that are my current favorite. The glass is really good. I have prescription in them.

I will 2nd wiley x I have had a pair for years. For me they are great fishing glasses with the green emerald lens. I did lots of research and had planned on buying Maui jim until I haphazardly tried a pair of Costas and was blown away by how great the lenses were. I know to each their own, but I was (and still am) very happy with the Costas. I'm sorry you broke yours... That hurts!

I recently switched from Costa to Ray Ban P Chromance rb 4264. I really like them, and they just look classier.

Here's my replacment Smith glasses. Sent pics of problem and they emailed me a gift card code for $250. Original glasses were much cheaper

Smith Optics or Bajio Sunglasses
I have a pair of Costas, Smiths, and Maui Jim.
I wear my Smiths fishing and Maui Jim for every day use.
Smith's customer service is A++ and their lenses are great. My Costas stay in the box mostly.
If I was buying a new pair I'd look into Bajio as well. I have friends that are fly fishing industry reps and everyone has relayed to me that Bajio is top notch and Costa is down hill after selling their soul a few years back.

Just returned my tuna alleys in green mirror lens to costa. New pair to my door in 10 days at no cost to me. Every two years I send them back when the rubber comes off the nose piece and get a free new pair. In the interim I bought a pair of Maui Jim’s southern cross and I must say they look and feel a whole lot better.

Costa does have a 30-40% military discount. Just ordered a pair for a gift but I've dealt with their warranty process and it hasnt worked out well for me. I prefer my Smith glasses anyway though.

Smith are great. I’d definitely go that route over Costa if it were me.
Rheos are my current favorites. They are based out of Charleston, SC. They float, great polarized lenses, and they’re not crazy expensive.

I switched from Costas to Smith a year or so ago. Wish I would have done it sooner.

I had a thread a few weeks ago about my Solar Bats and their warranty. Typically a little more affordable than Costas but I really like mine.
I will say my Costas were my favorite ones ever but they landed in the bottom of Lake Columbia running 60+ mph a few years back. Been going more affordable route since then.

They're not the absolute highest quality, but they are better priced and they're great value. Don't have to worry so much about losing or breaking them. I put mine through hell fishing and hunting and day to day. Very happy with them.

Revo lenses are the absolute best eye bath you will ever use. Their polarization is on a different plane of existence. I love the blue water lens color b/c i dig the blue outward look but it doesn't "cool" off your view. It still warms up the tones. so greens are slightly greener. blues are slightly bluer. everything doesn't turn some shade of blue if that makes sense. but it is definitely not the amber type lens that makes everything look like old film.
