You're budget is the most important factor IMO. There's lots of good scopes out there, all depends on what you want to spend. Most of the better known manufacturers offer a low end line of scopes and go up from there.
For a nice rifle like that one, I would want to spend a minimum of $400 for a scope, but if that's not in your budget, a cheaper Nikon will work for deer hunting. May not last a lifetime, but will work.
If your budget is a lot higher, most manufacturers offer a higher end line of scopes that will all be good.
Any 3x9 or 4x12 will be a good fit for .270 caliber. Go to some place that has a lot of scopes on display. Look through them and find one in your budget that gathers light well and buy it. I own more than my share of scopes. Redfield, Nikon, Leuopold, Vortex, and they've all been good to me. Just stay away from the junk and you will be fine.

Budget not really an issue within reason, would like to keep it under $800, closer to $600 would be better but. I’ve had recommendations on the Nikon monarch, or a zeiss conquest. Using it to hunt white tail, furthest I can see to shoot from my stand is around 350, but I wouldn’t take a shot past 250 yards. I’d like to get a scope in the brushed nickel or chrome look too instead of black , but at end of the day having a good scope is all that matters.

Thanks for the advice appreciate it. Yeah this year I’ve used my brother n laws spare savage 7 mag to hunt. Killed a decent 7 point with it this year, pumped to have my own gun now

Whatever you get, spend some time on the range and get to know your combo. I've had great luck with my Nikon Monarch. I've been seeing good deals on the Leopold Mark 4 too. Bought my first Zeiss Conquest this year. Haven't used it yet but it looks great as well.

Meopta meopro 4.5-14x50. It’s about $800 on Optics planet.
I have one on a 6.5cm AR. Buddy has a new Zeiss Conquest HD 4-16x50 on a Tikka T3x CTR in 6.5cm.
At 100yds the Meopta was way clearer. Could easily see the bullet holes on paper. With the Zeiss you could see them but it just wasn’t as clear.

Clearness like that is sometimes a tough comparison since the focusing of a rifle can be very subjective. However I tend the like the meopta a little better. Especially at 800 dollar.
But if trying to stay at 600 a vx3i 3-8x50 cds probably suits the best

Leica 3-10x50 $514
I picked up 2 of the 4-20x50 models for $650. Glass is great on them but haven’t mounted them on anything yet just bought them as spares. They say back ordered now but I would call.

Leupold VX-3i 2.5-8x36 in some Talley lightweight low rings.
The tikka is a very slim light rifle. Don’t put a telescope on top of it. 8x is plenty enough zoom to shoot a deer out to 300 yards. Few people have any business shooting that far much less farther.

Very true. My FIL had a 4x Weaver K4 scope on a custom built .257 Roberts. He loved that gun and had put many many rounds through it at the range. I never saw him shoot it at 300 yds, but I saw him shoot lots of 2.5" and under groups at 200 yds. I have no doubt he could easily find the shoulder of a deer at 300. He convinced me that you don't need a lot of magnification. You just need enough range time to know what your sight picture should look like at longer ranges. Having said that, he also sighted in 2.5" high at 100 yds. So 200 yds was a dead hold.

I just upgraded my t3 to a vortex razor light hunter. 1” tubes but a bit more magnification than the 3x9. I forget the crosshair spec, but love it so far - haven’t gotten in low light conditions just yet.

Leica is about as good as you’ll find.
V3 Leupolds
Nikon Monarch
Shooting to 350 yards with a .270 is no problem for the rifle, but put time in at the range.

Pretty sure I have this exact scope on my Weatherby Vanguard. It’s a solid scope. I’ve only missed a running coyote.
It’s been banged around a decent bit but no hard falls, maintained it’s zero all along.

I’ve got a vx2 3x9 40mm. It’s not a cds though. It’s a great scope. I’ve got it on my sons 7mm08. You’ll like it and the warranty is exceptional.

Lots of good options for $600. If I were going tomorrow with that budget I would buy the meopta first, then either the vx3 or vortex
