I promise I'm not trying to be obtuse, but how can you call Rams shite when Ford hasn't produced a quality diesel since '02 or whenever they went away from the 7.3? Aside from '07 and 1/2 of '08, when Dodge was still trying to straighten out their emissions crap the EPA threw on everybody, they haven't made an unreliable diesel in forever.

Everybody wants to talk about Dodge's gas-burner quality back in the day, but seem to forget the money hundreds of thousands of Tritan V8 owners have had to spend on ignition coils and stripped heads after spending hundreds of dollars on a tune-up because of a piss poor design. Chevrolet owners forget how crappy their instrument clusters and fuel sending units were in the early '00s.

I guess long story short is, every manufacturer has had issues you can pick out, if you want to talk shite about them.

Figured there would be a difference of opinion on them. Haven't heard a whole lot of recent issues with transmissions and heard the interior has improved. Wanna say I've heard them having electrical issues also but don't know that many people that have the new models.

Incorrect. The "cummins" 6.7 ( which is completely different from the 6.7 that goes in Ram trucks) that is used in some Case/New Holland tractors and some marine applications is Iveco technology. The 6.7L in Ram trucks are completely Cummins engineered/manufactured, and every part you buy comes in a Cummins package. Yes, they may have Fiat markings on the boxes, but that is because CDJR is partly owned by Fiat. It has nothing to do with who engineered them.

Fiat is almost ready to take over Chrysler completely.

I don't know if that's good or bad.

It appears that he just stated facts and not a single opinion. I did not fact check him but I fail to see how that is anything close to penis in mouth.

Well, their "Facts" contradict each others pretty clearly. One of them is not telling the truth. Maybe both?

ETA: realized that you never answered my question. If Jsb is giving what he believes to be facts, how does that make him sucking a penis?

The Ford bias is pretty ridiculous on this site. Dodge makes a badass truck and I would honestly love to own one. Needs to be repainted after 2 years!? Bitch please. I know SEVERAL people who have driven Dodge trucks since ~2005 and they are brutes. All you Ford boys need to get that overpriced dick out of your mouth and actually make remarks from a first hand point of view. I agree Ford makes a good truck, but hot damn, the hate for ANY other brand is ridiculous.

I know I haven't posted a ton here, but if you read my post history, you should be able to come to the conclusion that I don't let people get away with too much bullshite. I don't care if it's about trucks, dogs, or peanut butter sandwiches. I probably wouldn't defend them as vehemently as I do Dodge, but if somebody incorrectly dogged Ford or Chevy, I'd try to point out the truth to them too.

Plus, I'm service manager at a Dodge dealership.

Also, please don't take it as me being a dick. I actually like you guys. (I like a good heated discussion more, though.)

If the transmissions are better should be a great puller. That was the worst part of my 2002. Everything else was good to go.
