I'm laughing because a $400 Yeti doesn't hold ice any better than a $50 Coleman.

I like my Yeti. Do i "need" it? Of course not. However, it feels a hell of a lot sturdier than my max cold ones of the same size. The max colds are good chests and keep ice for a while but they just don't hold up well.

Also, on mine, even if the ice melts after a while the water in there is still really damn cold.

The mountains are still blue for days after, Brah.

Coleman is laughing at you because after you buy the cooler, you have to spend another $20 on replacement parts. Pretty genius marketing by them IMO. Instead of selling a complete quality system, they charge what you think is a deal for a piece of shite and then suck you back in after a few months of use for new parts.

Honest question, what do you do to ice chests? I've got coleman and igloos that I've had for over 10 years. You might have to spend 8-10 bucks every couple years on a latch, but with the $350 I save on not buying a yeti I could invest it and make that money back several times over each year

$50 + $20 < $400

A piece of shite that keeps ice longer than the majestic Yeti?

That's why these Yeti threads are so great. You Yeti owners get so defensive. You act like someone insulted your mother.

I can't remember the last time I bought an ice chest. Just fix what's broken, latch or hinge ($10 max), and keep on trucking.

How many yeti coolers have you purchased with your own money?

I loose about one a year somehow. They either fly out the truck, get left somewhere, get stolen, or some other act of nature.

Isn't it easier to replace those for $50 tho?

You'll never see this white boy with a yeti that he bought himself, or any expensive ice chest unless I have some drastic change in lifestyle.

Why would anyone buy expensive sunglasses if they can just go to the nearest truck stop and get some for 8 bucks? Same thing, keeps the sun out of your eyes.
