Just got done planting our 7 plots at home. I hope the forecast holds for later in the week. It’s up to 80% for Thursday.

Yeah we finished up yesterday. I think we’re good on rain. Showing a good chance in Woodville later in the week

That be the Lo Sto. There used to be a High Store up the hill but it burned down.

The local citizenry normally congregates in the beautifully manicured park across from the Lo Sto. The county comes in with a bulldozer ever 6-months or so and pushes all the trash into a pile and burns it. I understand there are a couple of deputies on standby while the cleanup takes place.

I did a light top seeding on top of my plots this past Sunday with a mix of chicory, turnips, and collards.

Hoping those small seeds can get good solid contact with the rain.

I planted in Pearl River county in late September it started to germinate then a month of no rain… still green thankfully and I’m hoping to get a good rain later this week to help it along. Planted buck forage oats this year. Didn’t plant last year due to the intense drought

My forecast (Centreville) improved dramatically since yesterday:

I sure hope so. My yard has cracks a toddler could get lost in and my pond is the lowest I've seen it in the 16 years I have had the place.

What area of Centreville are you in?

Shoot, I haven’t even drilled 70% of my plots. (I broadcast clover before rain and drill the other plots after). Ground is too hard
