Went to his site and it was down. Heard he stopped doing transfers. Is he still in business?

Nope. Was looking to buy a stripped lower as a wedding gift fora buddy a couple of weeks ago and he couldn't do it.

Damn that’s too bad. Makes those OB lowers more rayer.

That’s a shame. Bought from him a couple of times.

Damn....hate to hear that. He built a Grendel upper for me, and I was probably going back for one of his lowers soon.

Never heard of Bayou shooter but thanks very much I just signed up. I am not a collector or big gun fan but I am a country boy outdoors man. I will check out the bayou shooters and check what they say about Hebert's. They seem ok to me but i value and advice from some bayou shooters

Carson, what happened to Prop?

Not sure man. Hate to hear it

I brought my Sulzer Grendel to another local gunsmith to sight in. When I went to pick it up, he told me it was such a sweet shooting gun that he wanted to know all about it. Can't wait to hunt with it this year.

I’d guess the fact that AR can now be built for a about $400 or less.
Components are crazy cheap now as are full rifles.
The M&P can be had for under $500 now.

That’s a bummer. I’ve bought a few things from him. He céramistes my last AR build. Hope he’s moved onto bigger and better things.

Imo you couldnt beat his price on cerakoted forged lowers.

And he was extremely easy to work with on FFL transfers!

I would’ve bought a few more if I knew he was going out of business
