For everyone with positive things to say, thank you. Me and him both have been on cloud 9 all day. I bet he has opened that refrigerator in the barn where his deer head is a dozen times. We're gonna do a skull mount on a plaque. We considered a mount but I want him to strive and work for that "wall hanger"

Thats awesome and I bet that feeling will be with him for a while. Hunt66 jr is 17 and he has checked freezer all day and each time he tells me " that's a nice deer dad". Now that yours has a taste you may not have too many hunts by self for a while!

Congrats to you and him on the kill! I take my step son fishing and duck hunting as often as I can. Still waiting on him to get his first duck but I love watching his face when he catches a big fish! Great job!!!
