That would be one way to guarantee my wife wouldn't come back home. My personal opinion is to get a 6 pack and a .410 and blow each one away. Any collateral damage to the house is worth it. .

I may take a day off and have the beers and take them out with the pellet rifle!

Copperheads enslave garter snakes to run their errands. Vipers ARE in the wall, living in luxury.

A friend had rattlesnakes in his attic a while back(Mobile area). He put snake traps up there to catch them.

They are just in there eating your mice and rats in the walls.

They are probably making a mating den. Take pics when like a thousand get together in a big ball. I I always love those pics. Thanks for sharing.

Pretty sure you meant he had rat snakes in his attack, no rattlesnakes.

Unless maybe your friend had a bunch of gently sloping vines leading to his attic that facilitated the not-particularly-adept-at-climbing rattlesnakes getting to an attic.. I guess he could also be mini me and have 18 inch ceilings.

Just going by what he stated. He said rattlesnakes.

"Pat and I were sitting on the patio Sunday when we saw the last half of a small rattlesnake slither its way through an opening in the soffit, making it's way into our attic."
He did say something later about it possibly being a rat snake.

About one year before this happened we had grilled rattlesnake at the Kegtoberfest 2015.

They are keeping the rats and mice away, but I hear mothballs will keep them out if you are one of those snakeaphobes with a jacked up truck and small balls...

Look at the bright side:

You probably won't see a roach, cricket, or any other vermin for a while. Having a garter snake or a king snake around is like having your own personal exterminator!

Found a speckled king snake behind my garage last year. Let it ride knowing it kills vermin and poisonous snakes. Friend to man.
