Snakes in the wall
The wife (no pics) sent me pictures of a number of snakes coming out of an exterior wall in our house. It looks like there is a gap in the bottom of the stucco where they are coming in and out. There were 3 of them this morning, look like garter snakes. I hate snakes. How tf do I get rid of these? Obviously need to plug the hole after, but How do I get them out. MY current best option is burning the house down.

Plug the hole after you're sure they are all out. They will disperse, and this winter, will have to find a new bed.

re: Snakes in the wall
Would something like moth balls or snake out help? If I put it by the hole, would that keep them in the wall or drive them out?

I really don't think they are going to go back in. That was a winter den.

Maybe pour a shitload of bleach near there with a fan blowing in that direction. It's enough of an irritant they will not want to stay.

Then plug the hole when they leave.

Also. Your link for the pictures did not have any of the wife. Did you forget to include them?

That stuff doesn't work to deter snakes.

They'll leave as it warms up, then plug the hole. They'll have to find a new hibernaculum next winter.

They're are kind of going in and out. Our termite people saw one last week when they came, so they've been hanging around for a week at least.

eff, I knew I should have bought Elongated Musketgun's flame thrower

Probably not sure if winter is over. There will be a time when they stop going back.

This. Just wait until it's officially warm for the year, then plug the hole. Done.

This is true. But you should probably just burn your house down to be safe.

Luckily it's just garter snakes and not a nest of Copperheads.
