Well, my old rubber knee boots have finally worn out. I have always had Lacrosse boots, but wanted to see if anything is better. Since I only wear them in the duck blind when I don’t need waders, I am not looking to spend $300. What does everyone wear in this situation?

Tingsley EVA foam rubber boots, you will not want anything else after wearing once.

If you don't really need them to be tall then look hard at a pair of the fishing deck boots multiple companies sell now. They are only 6" tall or so, but very easy to slip on and off. $85-100 so cheaper then most of the taller boots.

I don’t think you can beat what you already got for the price.

Green Lacrosse for me. I've had the burlier ones and the slimmer ones and liked the slimmer ones better, but liked both. I wouldn't mind getting some snake bite proof ones though but I think those get pricey. Cant go wrong with Lacrosse in my opinion.

I find muck boots to be more comfortable than Lacrosse. Less than $100

I think LaCrosse is your gold standard and you might find something you like better, but I don't think you can wrong with some Alpha Burley.

I have some Irish Setter, that have held up pretty well. Pretty comfortable, but I stand by my previous statement.

Got them in some gas station store or hardware in Acadian area. Basically knock off LaCrosse grange 16", $40 and 10yrs later they are still rolling.

I have these. Very comfortable and despite knowing the chances of being bitten are super low, its a very nice to just walk without worrying in the early season or during hot spells.

The boots can get a bit hot, but that also works in my favor when the temp. isnt super low.

Went to Bass Pro and tried on a few pair of boots with no brand loyalty. Bought the most comfortable at a reasonable price. Just looked to see what they are. Lacrosse

I just buy the cheapest Magellan’s

I can’t understand why people want to spend $300 on rubber boots. And the more expensive, the heavier. I don’t like heavy boots baw
