From a guy we hunted private land with next to Reelfoot
Was told a guy named David V. went over to another blind and confronted them about shooting swing ducks or something stupid as such, ended up shooting the two young boys, a guy I know well was in the blind, it’s said he knocked the old man out took his gun then took the boys to the bank but they didn’t make it. Just now caught the guy that shot them.

My grandfather was murdered by a trespasser. Guy was hunting my grandfather's property.

To be honest I’m surprised something like this hasn’t happened down here yet. Every year this shite gets worse and worse... Venice this year was an absolute clusterfrick with people fighting with each other over what’s public/private. I’m surprised the chainsaw incident down here didn’t end with someone getting shot. The crazy thing is all this beef starts over a damn duck. Ridiculous...

Two brothers were shot in my neck of the woods years ago, one died. When it first went down the guy that shot them was automatically guilty, didnt end that way in court.

You are ok with executing trespassers ?
How do you think this will play out.
Trespasser dead. Land owner claims trespasser pointed a gun at him so land owner shot and killed him.
I don't like poachers any more than you do. But if you think you won't end up in jail over this, then you are taking a big risk. IMO.
HECK, lets forget the above speculation and just look at the facts of this particular case cited in this post.
The person who shot the kids is now dead. How did that work out for him.

Im having a real hard time making sense of this. So the dude just casually shoots the two boys then goes back to his blind and gets knocked out? Is he dead or caught? If he was shot by TWRA then there must have been some type of shootout?
