Have a Friday - Tuesday open in the middle of October and considering a flight to Denver and spending a few days in the mountains to escape the heat. Thinking a cool hotel, good meals and some hiking and scenic drives. Will just be the wife and I. Any recs on towns? Looking at maybe Brec, Aspen, Vail since they are relatively close to Denver but open to other ideas. Bonus for good live music. Also open to other areas but would like a direct flight from NOLA if at all possible.

Headed to Arkansas for the LSU weekend and would appreciate any recs on restaurants, things to do, etc. Staying at the Graduate Downtown. Also, where to stay on the way up? Will be driving from BR and initial thought is to stay in the Shreveport area. Thank you.

Looking to get another .30 cal suppressor within the next few months. Haven't been paying attention, but it looks like the tax stamp is no longer required, which is a good thing. How are wait times these days? Any specific places in the BR area that you guys would recommend? Any specific ones to look at? Thanks !!

Have a trip on Friday and will be gone for two weeks. Normally use short term or surface lot, but may do economy since its substantially cheaper for the longer time frame. How bad is it? Also, checked on the US Park and it wasn't much cheaper than the long term....thoughts?

I will disagree with the other guys. Plenty of people just want to see the area from the water. They will see lots of dolphins, pelicans, etc and for someone who is not used to being on the coast, it can be a great experience. I would call one of the marinas and ask them. You can also rent a golf cart for the day and cruise the beach.

Looking for recs for a vet in the Baton Rouge area. Have been using the same one for a while and they do a decent job, but have gotten really expensive. Its for a golden retriever if that matters.
Hardwood Floors - Baton Rouge

Had some floor damage on a hardood floor and had to replace most of the bedroom. Looking to get one bedroom sanded and refinished. The wood is new, unfinished 21/4' red oak. Would appreciate any recommendations? Also, any idea on expected cost? The room is roughly 12'x12'.

Have one that is at least 20-25 years ago. The grip is a bit blocky, but I love it and shoot it well.

Daughter will start driving soon and will need a car. Probably going to buy used and thinking smaller SUV. Huyandai, Toyota, Mazda, KIA, Etc. Any rec's on something reliable, safe and relatively inexpensive? Budget would be $15k/+/- Thanks

Its about 3 ft of two planks in two areas. I am pretty handy, but would like to find a professional if possible. The wood is probably 50 years old and I do not have an extra planks. Thank you.

Hire someone to tow it. I once knew a guy that towed a 31 foot CC from BR to Costa Rica. Just bring lots of spares, cash and watch out for the speed bumps in Mexico.

Kids (ages 12 & 15( are wanting to go skiing this year and I am trying to make it happen. Kids and I are beginner to intermediate skiers, wife sustained an injury a few years ago and has no interest in skiing. Kids have been one time to Steamboat a couple of years ago and had fun.
Would appreciate suggestions on destination options that won't completely break the bank, have plenty of beginner terrain have a decent "town" area with restaurants for the wife. Reasonable flights from BR or NOLA would also help.
A friend mentioned Whitefish so may check that out.
