I'm not seeing any updates about this. I found a bunch of stories that all say two men were killed and the murder is being investigated by TBI.

Based on the information provided in this Thread i think that those boys being killed is a tragedy. It is sad and unnecessary.
It sounds like tempers got the best of the murderer.
Kind of like the tempers have got the best of you and your friends.

This is exactly why I got off of Catahoula. Been in way more situations that involved guns pointed at us. Not fricking worth it.

I’m not gonna argue this whole thread but I’ll just say as a criminal defense attorney if a trespasser was shot with a weapon and the shooter was charged the idea that we’d have to prove all the shite your talking about is asinine. I don’t need you on the jury. I just need 1. Not to mention, the fact that it was an armed trespasser is enough to get my jury instruction which then shifts the burden back to the state to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that my guy wasn’t in danger. Hell, if the facts are that it was an armed trespasser and the investigation showed that I don’t even put the client on the stand and he’s never crossed.
That’s either a not guilty or a mistrial
