Is it good or bad and why...gas mileage??

I have a 2020 4x4 with the off road package, 14-15mpg in town, although I do like to hear that Hemi growl! 17-18 running 70-75mph, 19-20 if running 60-65 on highway. I average about 125-150 miles per week.

2017 4x4, with 34.1 Tires. 14-15 in Town, 20-22 70 MPH. I had 33s and did really well. 16-17 Town, 21-23 70.

I have a 2020 Rebel, had a 19 Laramie. I also had a 2016 F150 5.0 and a 2014 5.3 both with 6 speeds and they got a lot better mileage than the hemi. Thats my one complaint, but really my only one.

Get the 3.21 rear end and you’ll run about 22mpg on the highway at 70mph. The 3.92 rear end is fun but will ruin your mileage.

I rent them whenever I can. What a hoot to drive. Seriously my #1 preferred rental car these days.

I have a 2020 4x4 "offroad" Laredo w/ the 12" screen.
I bought it in Oct of 2019. Its by far the nicest, most powerful 1/2 ton truck I've owned. My last 2 trucks were F150 platinums, one with a tuned ecoboost and one with the stock 5.0.
Average 15.5 in a 50/50 mix of hwy/city. I drive like a bat out of hell, so I'm ok with that.
I'll be ready for the Trex soon if you wanna buy one with ~20K miles

With the 5.7 in the tundra going away the 5.7 Hemi is now the oldest engine in the class I believe. It’s falling behind, but is still a great engine. Only main issue was the lifters recently.

Mine has been great. Can't say that I am happy with the mileage, but I have been buying V-8s since the very first v-8 offered for the Dakota, and the only one that didn't seem to just drink gas was the one in my last Sierra in 2wd.

No way is the hemi more powerful than the ecoboost right?

i had a 2017 big horn before this 2019 2500 longorn. definitely miss the hemi, way more fun to drive than this diesel. got about 17 or so, about the same in this diesel.

For truck buyers and those concerned with raw power, the choice becomes a little less clear. While the Ram with a Hemi has 20 more horsepower and is a few thousand dollars cheaper, it also has 60 fewer ft-lbs of torque and is a little less fuel-efficient than the F-150 with a 3.5 liter Ecoboost.

I have 4 farm trucks with hemis. I’ve had to replace the engine in 2 of them before 100k Miles. Another one of them has been rebuilt twice
Pieces of shite

The only Ford option the hemi is more powerful than is the 2.7 in hp only
I believe. The 5.0 and 3.5 both edge it out. Just got a new 21 F150 with the 5.0 and enjoying it so far. If you’re considering keeping it long term another cost factor is the recommendation from Ram to run 89. And yes, they do run better on 89 than 87. There are some videos out there that actually measured the knocking. One of the cost savings I gained going back to the 5.0 from my 6.4 hemi, I can save 25 cents/gallon by being able to run 87 again.

Yeah from what I can tell, and I’ve never driven any of them, is the 3.5 ecoboost will run circles around any of the stock V8 competitors except GM’s 6.2.

I have the little 2.7 eco and it's plenty powerful enough for what I use it for. I think it has 335 hp.

I have the 5.7 Tundra and I bet your truck is faster.
