Is it possible? - ktfsh71 on 3/15/20 at 7:59 am Is it possible to test positive for CV, but not have any symptoms? If it is, then the infection and mortality rates could be really skewed. These rates are based on those tested vs positive results vs deaths. Why get tested if you aren't showing any symptoms or have not be potentially exposed. So,... re: Mold in HVAC ducts - ktfsh71 on 11/23/19 at 1:10 pm I work in the HVAC industry. The UV lights will not kill the existing mold in your ductwork. Inorder for the lights to kill mold, the light has to reach the mold. $6800 for metal ductwork is about right, as there is a lot more labor involved on metal ductwork as opposed to flex duct.
