Preferred knot for braid to fluorocarbon?

Been using the double uni. Sometimes it is near impossible for me to get a leader to keep the wraps and often slips off the braid. I have seen the Alberto knot and the FG knot.
I hear the Alberto knot is not as strong, but looks damn easy to tie and could easily work in all conditions. The FG is a bit more involved, but is reported to be one of the strongest. What is the OBs experience and preferred knot?

I use the crazy Alberto. Good knot. Saw a new one yesterday on another site that looked real good and easy to tie. The lefty kreh knot I think it was called.

You need to practice more with the Uni knot. Once you get the hang of it, it is pretty simple. Just make sure you aren’t stingy with the tag ends and it’s a breeze

So easy a caveman could do it

Double uni is what I use. A little practice and you can do it very quickly. Basically you make two intertwined loops and then tie both uni knots.
Knot strength is over rated imo unless you are doing something like amberjack fishing on structure. Inshore fishing your drag should be set at like 5 lbs max and using 10-20 lb test line you won’t ever be getting close to worrying about anything breaking.

I started with the FG but switched to the Alberto for ease of tying in the boat. I use braid with a leader on all of my rods except for my crankbaits and have never had the Alberto fail me.

I'm not sure what you're doing when you're tieing this knot, but I never have this happen and have been using double uni knots to join braid/superline to fluoro for probably close to a decade. Everything from 8lb Nanofil to 8lb fluoro up to 80lb braid to 80lb fluoro. The only thing I change is when using main line that is significantly smaller than the leader, I double the braid.
All that being said, the double uni is not the absolute best knot to join lines. The crazy Alberto is. I dont have issues with line breakage, but for the ultra serious guys who put a ton of stress on their knots, the crazy Alberto generally wins. It takes a while to learn to tie proficiently, but I'm sure with a little practice it would become second nature.
ETA: this is the double uni I use. I've actually seen a couple slightly different variations so if you're having trouble with your knot seating properly, try this version. It helps a lot to tighten down each side independently instead of trying to tighten them down simultaneously. I also use less wraps for the leader than for the braid. Usually 4 for the leader, 6 for the main line.

I use uni to uni and double the braid
Never had one come untied, come loose or break.

All good replies fellows
I will keep up with the double uni
Using 30# flouro on braid and it seems to want to unwind
Dunno but will keep practicing and give the others a try
Thanks

Double uni. I think of it as a couple overhand knots except you pass the tag end through several times

double uni, dont be scared to use a drop of superglue on it. I use trilene for terminal tackle

YouTube lefty kreh knot. It is the easiest that I have found and I have not had any issues.

Red phillips is the easiest. FG is my favorite.

I have never had issues with a Berkley double. Very similar to the Alberto. I basically stick with a Berkley or Palomar for almost everything except boat docks.

What application? Casting, vertical dropping? Triple surgeons loop if you’re not casting with inshore unit. With 30# stiff arse flouro go twice the # of loops on ya braid as flouro, uni:uni. It’s slipping because there’s not enough meat to hold that big bone.
