Gotta agree with the jack crevalle of the species I've caught.

Jack C for me. Fought one on medium heavy rod for 27 minutes. Pulled a 22' fiberglass boat around.

Never caught one but I've heard that a rooster fish is one of the hardest fighting fish in the world.

I'd say an AJ, YFT, and a choupic. Bonitas don't fight that hard im sorry.

Amberjack caught somewhat shallow so their swim bladder doesn't expand and you fight that mother fricker all the way to the boat or a jack creville.

I hung a fish one time on the Elk River and while I was fighting him I told my son to call the Taxidermist and make sure he was home because I was bringing him a wall hanger. When I finally wore him down I was a little disappointed.

I will say that I've caught a 1.5-2lbs smallmouth on a 2wt fly rod. That bastard took 15 minutes to get in. It was awesome and I loved it. BUT, I still say bream pound for pound.

Supposedly the swordfish is the baddest muthafricka in the ocean. They're known for their incredible stamina.
I read a story about some guys fighting one for hours, and when it surfaced, it was chasing a hard tail to try to eat it. Guess he had to eat to keep up his energy.

Bream or Jack Crevalle

Of fish that I have caught either a jack crevalle or AJ.
Fish that has a reputation for being one of the hardest fighting fish in the world GT.
Jack Crevalle is similar to a GT, in fact many people refer to them as the cajun GT.
