here comes ecb to tell us that isn't what he actually meant, and he just said that to actually sell more guns.

Almost wish they would do it so SCOTUS could slap it down once and for all. It's already clearly unconstitutional under Heller and Bruen.

I enjoy that the responses to this (including from other politicians and well-known figures) are getting increasingly bold. I'm not someone hunting persecution or revolution, but I'm also not interested in more boiling pot stalemate.

Stupid question--why hasn't LA,MS, AL, GA and/or FL passes 2nd Amendment Sanctuary laws?

Why should those sort of laws be needed?
The constitution is absolute.

They know they will never get an outright ban. The goal is to get the guns into the NFA registry. How do they do this?

The points system designating guns for sporting purposes dates back to the GCA of 1934. IT was expanded with the GCA of 1968 as it related to importation of firearms that were not deemed for sporting purposes. There was a big push by LBJ and many democrats to create a gun registry and have a federal license permit for all gun owners. In the end that was a bridge to far.

Democrats know an outright ban won't happen as long as the SCOTUS is a conservatives majority. They are going to push the ATF to reclassify "assault" Weapons as title II firearms and put them in the NFA. The anti Gun lobby is lobbying for this heavily. I'm not saying its going to happen but this is their plan.

Also, since Biden is the POTUS and all, he should lead by example and restrict secret service agents to 10 round magazines.
