Top one is a Microtech UTX-85 USN show special
2nd from bottom is from a South African knife maker, Herucus Blomerus.
Bottom one is from an awesome maker, Charles Marlowe.
Other stuff is spinning tops (for my kids), a custom Rexford Rut, and cool looking carabiner.

That is a beauty. I have a Benchmade Flipper and it stays very sharp.

A friend bought a couple of Cold Steel knives. I’m keeping an eye on them. They seem to be great knives.

I lose at least 2 of these per year.

You’ll enjoy it, I own that one too.
No pics of the latest purchases. Not sure if it’s just me but the last few have been the pinky size ones your paw would carry. They disappear quickly under my watch.

I retired from Entergy. Back in the 80’s & 90’s they offered some really nice knives to be purchased with safety points. I still have a few of them. After the 90’s they got on their kick about not offering anything that someone thought was offensive so the knives went away. Around 2010 they completely did away with safety points all together. I really don’t miss working for them because they are strictly SJW now and all the diversity training they make you go through

Figured this was a good thread to ask this.
I need a new pocketknife to keep away from the kids and wife. Somehow all my old ones get in the kitchen drawer at some point and end up being used to open Amazon boxes. I've passed on some really old ones from my childhood to my oldest son, and I'm holding on to a few more to give the younger one in a few years. But I need a new locking blade EDC type knife, that isn't too large when folded. What are the good to great brands now that won't break the bank?

What are you wanting to max your price?
I like benchmade knives and have several. They are in the $150 and up range.
I prefer my EDC to be thin. Benchmade has a bug out knife that fits the bill perfectly. I see it on sale on blade HQ for $127.
My son and I both have this knife.
