Just about everyone. Mine jams after a hundred shot if it ain't oiled.

Shoots good other than that.

I think just about everyone has had one of those tasco scopes also. Whether it was on a BB gun, or their 1st .22

I believe more Marlin Model 60s have been sold than any other .22 rifle in the world. However, I'm pretty sure more Ruger 10/22s are sold each year (they haven't caught up yet as far as total units sold).

I had one that jammed, but it was accurate as heck (more accurate than at 10/22)

Glad I'm not the only one having troubles with it. Doesn't take much to keep it running though

1st gun I ever owned...

I just pulled it out of storage the other day and fixed it up to be able to give to my little man in a few years when he gets old enough to shoot.

That was my first rifle. I still have it. Mine is pretty much so worn out that it is now very unreliable but back in the day, it was a great little rifle. Mine always like Remington Thunderbolt ammo.

The internals on mine are literally worn out. It's pretty funny to look at when you break it down. Ive shot many thousands of rounds through that rifle.

Enjoy!

Fun on a stick. They go for about $150 new.

I've got a 3x9 simmons on mine.

My first firearm too. My dad bought me the bicentennial model when I was born. I also have my grandfathers model 60 sitting in the gun cabinet. Looking forward to passing those two down to my little man
