Great Job.

I was looking for my first bow deer too. Saw about 15 tree rats but no deer this am.

Going back tommorow afternoon to my hidden row of ripe prisimmon trees.

Saw several does, none in range. Saw a shooter buck (18 inch main beam) but no shot. Nice to see some deer though.

Sorry guys its been a busy day.
Yes I found her and I'm pumped. My dad and cousin also shot does today too. The other guys with us stuck one but lost it. We just enjoyed some fresh back strap! I can't post pictures from my blackberry but when I get back in town ill be sure to post them.

Thanks for the congratulations.

Eta: if someone is still up and wouldn't mind posting a picture, ill email it.

Slow around here too. I saw two crossing way off and had a dow and spotted fawn roll through about an hour ago.

Saw a bunch of does and yearlings at the camp this weekend. No bucks off the stand, saw a few riding around. Gigged a nanny friday evening. More than likely will kill another nanny behind my house this afternoon.

Took my son this afternoon. He did really good for about an hour, then got figidy. I figured sitting still is too hard for a 4 year old so we got down and did a little squirrel hunting. The wind was just too strong and we didn't see anything but a big arse water mocassin.

I would kill him graveyard dead and enjoy the hunt just like "Uncle Ted"... everything is a trophy when you appreciate the hunt like this.

Wow, what a day. My 10 y/o son took his first deer with a Crossbow. He had 2-3 opportunities this morning, but was shaking so much, he could never find the deer in the scope. Got him setteled down(teeth chattering), and he finally lined a big doe up, and sealed the deal, at 22 yrds. Epic! Went 50 yards. It was quartering towards, but he drove the broadhead through the front leg, and took out the heart. It was an awesome moment, thats all I can say. May you guys get to have that moment one day.

Great post

Can't wait to get my Mini-Me in the field this year. He had a nice 8 point lined up last year and a coyote ran up and spooked everything around us. He's itching to get out there this year.
