Sportsman Wharehouse will have the Shimano Sahara 2500 on sale for $59

Pretty good reel for that price. I have one in my saltwater rotation that has held up well over the last 3 years.

Just ordered a Leupold vari x3i for $100 off. Was going to get the freedom but couldn’t pass that one up for $50 more

And yes, the 2500 is a great size for all inshore fishing.

I had a few and they all lasted no more than 2 trips before getting hard to turn. Even after washing off with a low pressure hose after every use.

Perfect. 2500 size with 30lb power pro is what 90% of my spinning reels are.
