Just used the Wilde on a build.

Wanted the accuracy for some longer distance shooting, but it’s kind of a novelty.

Still, glad I did.

I have a CZ Scorpion micro with a Franklin Armory binary trigger. The triggers are selling for over $900 on GB. Saw a gun just like mine sold for $2750. Might just sell mine if I could get $2700.

May have been posted but on the s&w MP15 front sight... Will it impair optics whatsoever?

I have read the gas block with the roll pins is rock solid and better to cut the sight off than add AM screw set gas blocks. Opinions?

Most optics are raised to a height so you can use the iron sights as backups. It’s called co-witness.

On some you’ll have the front post in the center of your optic and there are some that it is on the lower 3rd of the optic.

I just didn't know whether they could be discussed in this thread.

It’s solid to the point where it’s a pain in the arse to remove it. It’s not optimal for optics but it’s not a big deal either. If I was going to cut it off I’d probably want it covered with a longer rail.

Getting the gas block is not a problem. What blocks would you recommend with a longer rail?

I have a few superlative arms low profile adjustable blocks. They’re pretty great.

Any low profile block, although the cuts through the barrel for the drift pins in your existing sight base might mean you’ll need a clamp-on instead of the more typical set screw type. I have a Aero Precision adjustable that I like, but gas blocks are pretty simple. Pick a reputable manufacturer of your choice, but if you’re going to cover it with a rail anyway I’d just leave the cut-down front sight base.

I bought that one in May and love it.

I would love to get a 3x or 6x magnification for it that flips out of the way.

I also would like to change out the hand guard.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Midwest industries 14 or 15 inch slim handguard in m-lok. You're probably gonna need a low profile gas block too.

Seconded. I put one on my last build and absolutely love it. Very lightweight and feels perfect to handle. Also well priced. In the pic below the one on the far right has that handguard.
