another otherwise useless project completed during this time. not sure what exactly pushed me over the edge to this level of insanity but here we are.
found an old sheet of multicam gearskin and went to town on the MKIII 35mm

thanks,
Thunder Chicken rolls on this one.
Which reminds me... I have some parts including the thunder chicken in the hands of a very talented machinist that's working a little project for me. Stay tuned, should be pretty sweet

I have the same can. I really couldn’t remember if it was you that had one or if it was someone else.
I was wondering if you might be running a plan b
But I don’t know if a plan b uses the cherry bomb.

Alright, heres a couple of teasers from the work i'm having done to one of my MRPs.
@d.wilson_mfg on IG has had my upper, thunder chicken and a brand new Rosco Mfg 300 Blackout barrel for the last week.
It started as a standard 10.5” 300blk barrel that I had him chop to "flush fit" the suppressor just off the rail, and recessing the wrench flats just under the handguard.
In addition, some of you may or may not be familiar with the LMT MRP, but it is a Monolithic Rail Platform that uses 2 retaining bolts in order to secure the barrel. this means that with the removal of the 2 bolts I can change barrels, calibers etc in about 30 seconds. in order to make a normal barrel work with this system, d.wilson fits a collar over the barrel, up against the original barrel extension and then machines a relief cut at the bottom of the collar which allows one of the retaining bolts to pass through.
Once I get it back I will take more detailed pics to show what im talking about here

New to the game. Found a nice deal for a nice starter.

That’s looks and sounds pretty incredible.
Was able to take the 2011 out this afternoon.
It was pretty incredible actually. May be the best shooting pistol I’ve ever shot.

I’m putting together an AR pistol build(5.56) and all of a sudden I’m second guessing the 10.5 barrel length for an 11.5. What says the OB?
Posted on 4/13/20 at 1:19 pm to Gingersnap
10.5 is perfect IMO. Especially if you are going to run a can.

No plans on suppression as of now but could definitely be a possibility down the road.

11.5 is optimal length for sub 16" 5.56

Nice looking starter. Welcome to the addiction

I a have a 300 blackout pistol coming my way soon and thinking of slapping a binary trigger in there. Any of you have one and if so any input as to the fostech or franklin armory offerings?

What handguard should my friend get for his Stag 15 5.56 carbine. He got it round 08 or 09 and did nothing to it.
Any suggestions
