Are you dealing with a lot of seed heads on your celebration? I'm having a ton but I had a lot last year around this time too.

Yes but I havent started PGR yet this season. Hoping once i do they will be supressed.

Those dumbasses are shooting towards the road too

Glad i wasn't the only one to notice this!
Have you put any fertilizer on any of the lawn yet?

On the weed side, i would be very hesitant to spray any herbicides on 6 week old grass. Best to just deal with the weeds while the grass establishes its roots and then you can smoke the weeds later on, but that's me.

Nice. You happy with it? They've been showcasing their allett Stirling model on all of their recent vids. I might make the Splurge in 2-3 years and see who's offering what in the battery reel space. Or I'll get lazy and get a robotic mower.

Overall, yes. It does tend to wear belts quicker than i'd like however. Its an easy fix but i wish it were a tad more robust for how tough mowing and cultivating on bermuda can be.

I have a Stirling 51 on order, at face value you they have addressed many of the short comings of the liberty.

But yes, I am not displeased with the mower. Its the only mower that has been on this lawn since i laid it early last year, which shows the versatility of the machine.
Thanks! It's Celebration Bermuda. I'm in Lafayette

Looks great, what's your HOC? What equipment are you running?

Thanks, current HOC is 5/8". Started this season at .415" but had to bump up because i've been travelling too much to stay on top of it.

Holding it here for another couple of weeks and then i'll scalp, aerate and sand level, then will stay below .5" for the rest of the year.

Currently using an Allett Liberty 43 with a 10 blade reel, and also have scarifier and veritcutter catridges

Do you guys think Allyn Hane "The Lawn Care Nut" (youtube) gives sound advice and how do you feel about his suggestions about using things such as root growth stimulant?

I put RGS down every month or so when i'm bored and feel like putting something on the yard.

Its hard to really say if it helps or not, but it certainly doesnt hurt. I've got it so i use it...
Getting there but still a ways to go before i'm really happy with it.

John fitted me a couple years ago. Very happy with how he set them up for me.

Saw Popp for a couple of years and my game improved dramatically. as others stated, he's pricey, and even more so when you do a 2hr on-course lesson but thats when i really began to see an improvement because he helps you take the studio work to the course.

Sounds like you already "pulled the trigger" but if anyone else is looking around Lafayette, Uncle B's Gunsmithing always has a few for sale in his shop. They range in price from $550-$1100

Tell him tiddlesmcdiddles sent you, Great Guy.
Hesco L210 Special threat Plates in a Perroz LPSPC carrier.

No need to go into why, everyone has there own reasons.

I originally bought some Spartan AR550 plates but upgraded to the Hescos after a short time with the steel plates.

The 210s wont stop everything but will stop almost everything I would imagine needing them for, that is unless i get clapped by someone's Uncle Donny sniping me with a 270 Weatherby,

The trade off in weight is worth it to me.

Panda, Thunder Chicken or Ultra 7 and don't look back

Got an email saying I have to let the seller know that the FFL License was received.

Odd verbiage. I keep a copy of the FFLs I use for transfers and I just send them to the seller via email after a purchase.

Don Lalond - LA Laser Systems

(337)323-9443

Looks like he's in the Port Barre area but he definitely does firearm engraving. Never used him but I am going to send one for him to do.
