Just a quick word of warning - if you shoot that on a range, especially an indoor range, the people next to you are going to hate you.

Why, because it’s loud? I bought same rifle a month ago but haven’t been able to shoot it

Yes, with the brake it will be extremely loud and the sound is directed backward and to the sides because of the way the brake works.

Should I have gotten a compensator instead?

Not really, compensator is designed to reduce muzzle rise vs a break is designed to reduce recoil.

They are both using the weapon's gases to achieve that goal.

Compensator forces gases up and back
Brake forces gases back and to the side.

They're both loud as hell.

If you're concerned about what others think about you at the range get a silencer.

I have several and they're great.

For the most part yes, but definitely has their place in competition rifles.

Got stamps back for two turbo Ks after about 139 days with a trust. Finally picked one of them up (still waiting on the other stamp to arrive).

Wish I could shot it now. Maybe I’ll go drive a few into the dirt in the back yard since it’s a “silencer” and it makes it silent and scary...right

Thinking about it. I have a few I want to do just haven’t done it. It’s been 15-30 days for a while now. I should stop procrastinating… One day LOL

Wow. That's some good news in a time like this.

ETA: What's the process now with a trust to form 1? I did mine before 41F went into effect.

The only thing that I know is different is that you need fingerprints and pictures of everyone on the trust. Whether they're an owner or beneficiary.

i really don't know the answer to that.

I think you can upload it. When I did mine 4 or so years ago I uploaded a scan of the trust. It was an e-file.

I'm pretty sure they're still doing form 1 e-file.

I did the same thing several years ago. I remember it was so easy. I will look into it today. I have a few I need to do, but have just been pushing it cause of the prints and photos of everyone in the trust.

Man I was just saying last night how I wish Silencer Shop had there e-file form 1 service back up....and I just got a email today about it now being live

I have my info with silencer shop already so I am going to give it a go. Should mean I can do everything from my computer since they have my trust, prints, and photos already on file. Happy days...
