SOB yep just got off the phone. I was a test run...they may do it again in the future they guy didn't have any info. So mad...I wasted time looking at other shite when I could have got in on this ugggggggg

preparing my 2011 build for cerakote.
Hope to get it done this afternoon but want to get some practice 1st before i hit the slide and frame.
doing the safeties, takedown/slide release, and hammer retainer 1st.
Not a huge deal when I mess on of them up.

ugh, bless you. I dabbled with it years ago and have a lot of respect for the product, but gawdamn is it tedious.

What color scheme you going with? Your earlier post really makes me want to try and build an open gun.

it might be a mistake but I'm going to try and do a kind of a battle worn on this.
I'm typically very old fashion on the finishes of my guns but since this one isn't that type of gun, I thought I'd at least try it. It really doesn't sound all that bad.
I'm doing the gas out right now on the parts.

Interested how this goes. I have one build that the upper isnt as black as the lower and rail and it bugs me. Been thinking about spraying it all one color or something. Don’t really want to pay $$$ to make a black rifle black lol.

Well, I personally think it has turned out really good. I like the look. Very subtle but it’s there.
Main issue right now is betting everything back to fitting. The slide was very tight before but I’ve been working all morning just to get it back on. I’m close but having to go work on some honeydo’s.

Slide and frame is good now. Had to make a lapping compound out of some grit and some lithium grease.

I'm looking for a green laser with a pressure pad for my ar15 pistol. So far I'm leaning towards the holosun ls117g. anyone have another suggestion?
