Never started the 9mm build I had planned, but I was going with Quarter Circle10 receivers. Read lots of good things about them in my research.

Yeah, LaRue SPR. Like it a lot.

Not bad at all. I actually was surprised at how small it is compared to what I was expecting when I ordered it. Feeds ammo fine, but is a bit of a bitch to load. And makes for a great kickstand when taking a pic

I bought a set of Magpul mbus sights today, they will not fit on any of my rails on my ar's. What am i doing wrong?
Posted on 9/20/16 at 9:36 pm to Woodguy
I think you have to slide them on from the front or the rear.
Are you doing that?
Are you doing that?

Yes, i took the bolt out too like the directions say. They wont come close to sliding on. I even went and checked it on my completely stock M & P 15-22 to make sure. Not even close. Package says fits 1913 picatinney rail.

This^. If they are the polymer ones, you take the screw completely out, slide them down the rail until they are where you want them (and the screw hole is lined up with a slot), then reinsert the screw. If they're the metal ones, you just have to loosen the screw enough to allow the clamp on one side enough room to slide over the rail.

They are polymer, are they supposed to be that tight? They arent close to fitting. I would have to absolutely force them to even begin to slide down the rail.
Ok, yes they are that tight. I was able to start them on barrel end and bump them on.
Thanks.

Mine have always slid on fairly easily.

I got them on but for what they cost you would think they would fit better.

Mine were tight as hell as well

What spring and buffer are yall using on the ar9's? Order an ar9 upper tonight, trying to figure out the other half.
Do I see buffers anywhere from 9 oz to 5.4. Along with an ar10 spring is what some people are using. what says the ob

What about barrel twist? is 1-8 better for a 20" barrel?

On the single piece mounts(likely a QD), go with standard or the extended with some built in eye relief?

Anyone try the PMC 223 77gr Sierra OTM? Poor man's Black Hills MK262 Mod 1 / 77Gr SMK? Primary Arms has it on sale for $11.99/20. Much cheaper than the black hills stuff.

I am using a Spikes STX- 9 buffer. My SBR 9mm was dogshit before I starting using it. I couldn't get 5 rds into a mag before issues started. I paired it up with a Wolf Extra Power Buffer spring and not one Failure since.
