26, self employed, where do I start
Posted by boatless2 on 9/18/20 at 10:02 pm
Where do I start? I need to obviously start a 401k or a Roth IRA (not sure if that’s correct), but how do I go about doing that? I’m looking to start Investing roughly $1500.00 a month. Let me know if you need any more info.
My first thought was just jump off the bass boat onto one side of the aluminum boat and flip them over
Probably curtain drain failure, or maybe failure due to no curtain drain. It’s a pretty big project, as then have to dig a 2/3ft wide by 6ft deep hole all the way around the house to repair/replace.
How old is the house? My guess is the curtain drains around the permitter of the footing are failing, and will probably need to be re done. If your curtain drains are tied to a sump pump, check to see if your pump stopped working and is backing the curtain drain up

Expect to pay 16/1800 a day. Yes you can rent them, but they rent for 800-1000 dollars a day at a rental place. You’re better off hiring out if you haven’t done it before. Not only that, you will need a 1 ton to tow it from the rental place, as that machine with a mulching head weights around 13/14k

140’s are $264.00 if anyone’s looking
Alright sounds good, I’ll give him a call and see if they have any slots open
Just to give you an idea, that’s anywhere from 50-75 thousand yards of material, and I am basing that off of the 10 acre estimate. That’s dredging the hole pond 3ft. Or as I like to think of it, 3500-5000 dump truck loads.
Am I wrong in saying that this is probably a half to 3/4 of a million dollar job? Is 3ft to much? Maybe dredge 1ft? That’s still like 16/18 thousand yards of material that would have to be hauled off

DO NOT USE TREATED PICKETS, CEDAR ONLY
With you and another guy, you should be able to set all post, brackets, and rails in one day. That’s if you use an auger. Get the two man post hole digger, much quicker than the two man.
You should be able to picket 250ft in one day.

PJ or load trail.
An 8x10 would probably be around the $2000 dollar mark depending on how much fill you need

109 tomorrow, that’s just the temperature, not the heat index
re: Extend concrete patio - cost

I don’t know what the prices are where you’re at, but I own a landscaping company and we pour quite a few back patio extensions (4 coming up in the next 2 weeks)
what you have to remember about pouring concrete this time of year, is that you need a lot of man power. If your running wheel barrows, you need 3 guys for that, then you need another 3/4 ( depending on slab size) to be finishing and working the concrete. The concrete will be able to be walked on within 3hrs of it being poured.
Use #3 rebar and dow into your old patio. 16 inches centers for the rebar.
How much elevation change is there? Any? Do I need to bring in dirt and a bunch of form boards or do I just need to weed eat the grass down and take 2 inches of dirt out? The former takes a lot of time.
What finish? Broom? Stamped? Smooth?
Anyways, I’m pouring a 20x12 that will require 4 yards of fill to be brought in and compacted and I’m charging $3500 for it.

Glad you posted this, just got my first suppressor out of jail and need one
$1000 bucks to finish 438sqft is a very fair price.
