Ballistic Advantage is running a deal this weekend. Purchase an upper and a barrel and get 15% off. They offer a 1MOA guarantee on all their barrels. Prop speaks highly of them and I've only read good things on the interwebs. You can get an upper and one of their Performance series barrels for $355 or an upper and a Wylde .223 stainless for $365.

I would have gone with a scorpion or MPX instead

A lot of 9mm ar's have issues, at least from my limited research

Don't buy from ballistic's website, go to granite ridge outfitters and save 50 bucks on their barrels

Damn. I was this close to buying one of their's a few weeks ago. Ended up going with Faxon but I would've definitely overpaid for a BA.

If you know of a really cheap place to get Faxon barrels don't tell me.

No place for those, unfortunately lol. But yes, granite ridge is doing free shipping, and most barrels are about 50 dollars cheaper.

I recently bought one of the S&W sport 2s. I don't know anything about customizing them. Is there a website that specifically sells parts / accessories for that type? I saw a handguard at academy yesterday that I liked but I didn't buy it because I didn't know if it would fit.

There's an entire market for AR parts. They'll all fit your gun one way or another. Depending on the handguard, you might need to remove the delta ring and/or change the barrel nut. But you don't need to search for model specific parts.

Try primaryarms.com. They have pretty good prices and good customer service

Like said above, any rail will fit on that gun. Go to aimsurplus.com and go to the accessories section and click rails. That will give you an idea of how many different companies make rails for these guns. If you want to put a longer hand guard on it than you have now, you will need to get a low profile gas block so the handguard will fit over it.

Like Radical Firearms, they have a bunch of lemons. They are a mixed bag company like Radical in that several of their guns work and several dont. You just never know what you are getting with either company because the consistency is lacking.

Which loctite should I use on my gas blok set screws? It's probably already been answered numerous times I just don't feel like going through 600+ pages.
