I'd have trouble picking one over the other if I had too I try and keep all my builds a little unique so I have the SOPMOD on my 5.56, EMOD on the 300BLK, and putting my UBR on the .458SOCOM whenever I get started on it. There are rumors that that beast will collapse most stocks, but definitely not the beefy arse UBR.

UBR is a freaking tank, thinking about using it for the 300 just because

Me and Ben have discussed it, but I do not think it will work. One person would be the head of the trust with everything falling under his possession and everyone else would just be able to legally "possess" the rifles.

There is no head trustee. Once the trust is formed, they are all equal. They can all add and remove shite or equally screw shite up.

I have 3 settlors in my trust that are all equal. The trust owns whatever each individual buys...that's the point of the trust

I see, maybe I was reading things wrong or heard differently. But that makes sense

not sure where you are located but Mark Garber (lawyer here in lafayette) is known for writing NFA trusts. He is who I used. He is well versed on the subject and is a shooter himself

you are right. i think i am going to ditch mine though. I liked it on my 18" configuration but since that rifle does double duty (the 12" barrel and 18" are both run on the same gun) i want something lighter for the 12"

There is a guy in New Orleans that a lot of people use, can't remember his name but I got it from bayou shooter. He posts a lot over there, think he charges $325. Every once in a awhile I find decent information on bs, this was one of those times. What does your guy charge?

How much are these silencers? Do you have to buy it before you do paperwork? I'm confused on the process

You buy the suppressor at the time you submit the paperwork to BATF. It is then "in jail" at the store/dealer you bought it from until your stamp comes back approved. Most class 3 dealers will handle your paperwork, you just slap your signature on it, write BATF a check for $200, and pay the dealer for the suppressor you won't get for a year

Eta: my AAC m4-2000 was $1100 not including the $200 tax stamp to ATF
