I picked up a bunch in Laplace yesterday that is somewhat wet, but burns well once it dries out

Trick is to cut some little slivers to start it and keep the logs relatively small

I have some Hackberry and although it burns out...... it burns quick.

yeah wtf? You are suppose to cut the tree into smaller pieces before using it on your fire pit.

I hope you misplaced your axe. Oak is the shite, but i've burned plenty of landscape timbers. Find yourself an axe and some nice sappy kindling logs, problem solved
