Safety wise it’s better he put his stand on the corner and shoot towards his property than to shoot towards OPs property
And be careful about doing things that harass hunters. There are laws against that

That image is very close. The blind is actually against the fence.
Don't need posted signs anymore in Louisiana but they may convey the message better.

I just cant wrap my head around people being mad about someone legally hunting their property. But oh well.

Another reason to consider you’re overreacting is this: on 10 acres he’s only killing deer coming/going from you, regardless of where on his 10 acres he hunts. Doesn’t really matter where his blind is.
Now, is he lacking some basic tact and decency? Without a doubt.
You need to offer him double FMV and go from there.

I was thinking this about safety too. Giving the guy the benefit of the doubt, maybe he wanted to shoot across his property instead of into shooting someone else’s? Even at dead center of the property that’s only 110 yards to the property line.

Because he is not trying to hunt his property. If his stand is in the corner facing his 10 acres then cool. It is facing the adjoining neighbors property though.
Which is still a dumb way to hunt it assuming his access is on the opposite corner but whatever. If the land is completely flat then it does keep bullets from going on the neighbors land.

Sure, that's why his stand is in a corner, has windows looking out over all other property and the feeder is on the property line . . . so he can shoot toward his property.
The only reason why the feeder is on the property line is because he knows he would get caught if he put it on the neighbors property.

I didn't take this as the case. If it's a ground pop-blind it will have windows on all sides including the sides facing IB's property. Doesn't mean he's hunting IB's property but he'll be able to see through the windows onto the property.

In a day and age where we think people hunting is a great thing, we seem to be pissed when people dont do it just like we like them to.

put a ground blind on your property and shoot the deer while on your property that is going to the feeder. If you need someone to do it I will gladly help.
Posted on 8/10/21 at 1:41 pm to I B Freeman
It’s pretty simple really. Put up a tripod/stand off the ground about 75 yards from the feeder with direct line sight of his ground blind. Suggest how dangerous it is for him to have a ground blind in your shooting lane.

I've got similar issues. Neighboring property has several stands right on the line. We never let them retrieve deer. It's funny thought, in 15 years of owning the place we've never had a deer run onto their place.

It’s funny but some seem to think considerations should be one way. The guy putting a blind so close to the line facing OP’s land isn’t being inconsiderate? The only thing I hate more than a thief is a trespasser. If people don’t have enough land to hunt on that’s not my problem.

This is why rednecks on 150 acre shite leases can't accomplish anything other than hating their neighbors.
