I will never purchase another vehicle without leather/heated seats
i dont mind cloth...i'll put neoprene covers on anyway due to heavy canine passenger use. i've never even used the heated seat button on mine
all of that stuff is just more shite to break.
it took me a year to figure out how to get the seat to quit backing up every time i turn the key off...

You can easily get a Tundra in that price range. SR5 basically have everything the limited ones do except leather. Do note that they do not have a 6' bed if you get the crew cab. The bed is only 5 or 5.5 ft (cant remember).

You worried about your heated seat function you don't know how to turn on breaking?

Go with the Tundra. It’s everything you’re looking for in a reliable bulletproof truck. I bought my first Toyota in 1980, have driven Chevys, GMC, and F150 over the years. I’m back to Toyota, probably for good.

Given those options I would get a GMC.

Levels are:
SR5
Limited
Platinum/1794 or whatever the date is.
Does the SR5 have navigation?
And if you ever get a/c seats you won’t be able to not have a/c seats.

Yes. I have a 2016 Tundra SR5 TSS 4x4. Came from an F150 eco boost and couldn’t be happier.

What exactly do you do work wise with the Truck?
Posted on 12/15/17 at 5:18 pm to Namtab7
Tow my tractor, ranger and do typical hunting stuff. My Tundra can pull anything the F150 could.

Same here. Nav, Bluetooth, back window goes completely down. Most everything the Limited has except leather.

their trim levels are confusing...what's the diff between that and SR5
Limited comes with leather seats standard and a few other bells and whistles.
Just traded my 2010 Tundra w/205k miles for a 2018. Looked at Ford but couldn't justify spending almost 10k more for a truck w/leather seats. Only thing I ever had to do was my 2010 was change oil. Gas mileage is not great but the reliability of the Tundra made my decision an easy one.

If you tow those pretty regularly you should look at 3/4 tons. I bought a new 2015 GMC Z71 1500 in 2014 and after a year it had to go. I paid 40k for it. It’s a cliche’ but these new half ton trucks just don’t hold up or have the power that they used to have. I traded in for a used 2015 F250 XLT FX4 CC diesel with 27k miles and paid 40k for it. You may not need the diesel but I garantee you truck itself will hold up a lot better. I’ve had mine for two years and over 100k miles without a single problem. I do residential construction and my truck is also a 50/50 work truck.
Plus, you can find pretty good deals on them because there are a lot of guys that just buy them just to have them. They never tow anything then realize they don’t need the truck so they trade it in 6 months later.

Tundra is the only way I'd go. It isn't perfect, just the best option.

frick Team, I have bought from them before, I had a good friend that used to work there and was provided the name of a salesmans to deal with for this purchase. That salesman, after Toyota discounts, was able to pull some string because I had "purchased from them before and was a good friend of a friend". They would knock off less than $1k off MSRP.
Another truck was a Limited demo, '17 with 4200 miles scraps and scratches all over the truck. Toyota discounts were $4500, the dealership was willing to come off another $1500 and no more.
Like I said, they wont deal and many other dealers will...
